Manawhenua.

The areas in which our claims lie, embraces all of the northern South Island to the north of the 1990 Māori Appellate Court boundary which runs from Kahurangi point in the west to Lake Rotoroa and then to Te Parinui o Whiti (While Bluffs) in the east.  In addition to this, our area of claims also encompasses the West Coast (Te Tai Poutini) of the South Island from Kahurangi Point in the north to Arawhata in the South.
